PORSCHE 3.0L TWIN-TURBO CARRERA
The 992.1 Carrera range uses Porsche’s 2,981 cc 9A2 EVO twin-turbo flat-six. The non-hybrid 992.2 Carrera, T, S and 4S continue that 3.0-liter architecture with revised turbo and charge-air hardware.
Across the 3.0-liter cars, the engineering is unusually sophisticated: an aluminum crankcase with plasma-applied iron bore coating, centrally mounted piezo injectors, VarioCam Plus, mirrored turbochargers that rotate in opposite directions, and charge-air coolers mounted directly above the engine.

HIGH-OUTPUT TRACK RECORD
The long block is only part of the equation. Clean fuel, controlled charge-air temperatures, sensible torque delivery, healthy ignition, good data and shorter service intervals are what turn a fast dyno pull into a car you can keep using. We build around those conditions from the start.
TURBO HARDWARE
Porsche changes turbo and charge-air hardware by trim and generation. That is why a Base/T, S, GTS and 992.2 Carrera cannot be treated as the same build—even when their 3.0-liter architecture is closely related.
