H&R 50474-6 Sport Springs are engineered for the 2015–2018 BMW M3 Sedan (F80), including the Adaptive M Suspension and Competition Package configurations listed by H&R.

The fixed height spring kit lowers the vehicle approximately 1.3 inches at the front and 0.8 inch at the rear, reducing fender gap and lowering the center of gravity while retaining the listed original damper application.

Vehicle fitment

  • 2015–2018 BMW M3 Sedan (F80)
  • H&R lists compatibility including Adaptive M Suspension
  • H&R lists compatibility including the Competition Package

Application boundary: part 50474-6 is the F80 M3 Sedan application. The F82 M4 Coupe uses a different H&R part number. No M2, M4, F83 convertible, or G8x fitment is implied. Confirm the exact model, body style, production year, suspension equipment, and original ride height before ordering.

What is included

One H&R 50474-6 Sport Spring kit as currently packaged by the manufacturer. H&R’s public application listing does not itemize every supplied component, and its product photography may be representative. Do not assume that mounts, pads, bump stops, dust boots, or fasteners are included unless the paperwork supplied with the kit states otherwise.

Installation and supporting service

Installation must be performed by a qualified professional suspension mechanic. Record ride height from wheel center to fender before and after installation. Inspect the mounts, pads, bump stops, dust boots, spring seats, and fasteners, and replace any component that is not in like new condition.

H&R’s current January 2026 general technical sheet does not list part 50474-6 among the spring kits requiring factory bump stop trimming. Review all product specific paperwork supplied with the kit before installation, as that paperwork controls. Torque fasteners to current BMW specifications, verify Adaptive M Suspension operation when equipped, check wheel and tire clearance, and complete a four wheel alignment after the ride height change.

Warranty

H&R’s current written warranty covers suspension springs for the original retail purchaser for the duration of that purchaser’s ownership of the vehicle, unless the product is discontinued, in which case coverage ends at discontinuance. Coatings are excluded. Coverage requires the correct listed vehicle application and proper installation by a qualified licensed mechanic. Eligibility, exclusions, documentation, and claim handling are governed by H&R’s current written warranty terms.
