Öhlins Road & Track brings precise chassis control and refined road manners to the BMW E46 M3. Part BMS MI30S1 combines Öhlins DFV damping with independent ride height adjustment in a rebuildable front and rear suspension package.

Confirmed application

Öhlins identifies BMS MI30S1 for the BMW M3 (E46). The current manufacturer mounting instructions cover BMW E46 and E46 M3 applications. Öhlins states that the kit fits coupe models; convertible models require a small change to the rear upper mounts. Confirm body style and current manufacturer application data before installation.

Kit contents

The current Öhlins instructions list two front struts with springs and adjustment hardware, two rear shocks with springs and preload adjusters, the specified small hardware, adjustment tools and manuals. Check the complete kit against the latest manufacturer instructions before installation.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended by Öhlins. Final ride height, alignment, fastener torque, steering and suspension travel, and interference checks must be completed according to the current Öhlins instructions and BMW service information.
