Expect a sophisticated sound with valves closed and a flat-six wail with valves open by pairing our Valved Exhaust System with Long Tube Street Headers for performance gains without a check engine light. Soul Performance Products Long Tube Street Headers are built around large diameter, free-flowing catalytic converters with long tube runners for maximum gains in power, throttle response, and flat-six engine tone. DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING: By creating a unique application for the 981 platform, we’ve focused on sizing the runners (2”) and collectors correctly to extract maximum power from the 3.4L engine while producing great gains from the 2.7L as well. We chose high-flow catalytic converters of an appropriate size to encourage maximum power gains. Don’t settle for smaller, cheaper catalysts when power and durability is concerned. We wanted to be certain that our system offered a superior spectrum of sound – Cup car inspired with valves open but with a refined, no droning tone with valves closed. The SOUL mufflers practically eliminate droning – even with aftermarket headers the sound is reserved with valves closed!
CONSTRUCTION: Our precision engineered headers are meticulously fabricated from T304L stainless steel. Proven design elements including port matched flanges, smooth radius primary tubing, and collectors that optimize the exhaust flow all work in conjunction to maximize power gains. Every set is rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping. Each system is made from mandrel bent T304L stainless steel tubing and features mufflers with fortified casings in the interest of durability.
TIPS: Choose from several different tip styles and finishes – from single wall 321 stainless tips to double wall chrome tips. Logo customization and custom tip colors are available by request. Titanium single wall tips are also available and save nearly a pound of weight over stainless steel tips!
BOLT ON AND GO: Each exhaust is rigorously quality-checked, tested in a fixture to guarantee fitment, and then foam packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Thorough installation instructions are included in the box for a straightforward install that can be performed by most DIY enthusiasts.
LIFETIME WARRANTY: Enjoy your SOUL exhaust components with confidence on both the street and track as they are covered for life! Our team will quickly work with you to resolve any issues or answer any questions that you may have.

Just purchased Soul street headers, valved exhaust and Softronic tune for my 2016 Cayman GTS. All three surpassed my expectations. Glorious sound, exceptional quality and exhilarating performance.
Additionally, all the guys at Soul are very knowledgeable. They also are unfailingly cheerful. This is not an easy thing to do. If any one of them is having a bad day you would never know it.
The one who was assigned to me was John Gaydos. I think he must have drawn the short straw. This guy has legendary patience. Due to my extremely limited computer skills, he spent three different days making sure my tune went flawlessly. John, you are the man!

I had about 30,000 miles on my PDK base cayman before I upgraded to another manufacturer's valved exhaust for my car. I did a lot of research and was assured by my salesperson that the drone would be minimal. After the installation, the exhaust sounded pretty badass, but the drone was pretty bad-- especially with all the highway driving I was doing at the time.
I decided to do a few more upgrades and got the accessport, plenum, bmc air filters, pro tune, and catless headers from the same vendor.
There were a few installation.. err.. surprises, but after everything was said and done-- the car sounded wild
Pros: Noticeable power improvement, loud enough to rev the engine and cars in front of me would move out of the way. Sounded like a GT Cup Car.
Cons: Catless headers, so would not pass emissions; and the big one: too loud.
Yes, with the valves open, it was too loud to drive with. The level of noise was so loud that with the windows down-- my hearing would start to sound muffled. Mind you-- i'm under 30 years old.
But the worst issue: the drone. The vavled exhaust had it's own drone, but now with the headers, the overall volume was significantly louder. The drone was obnoxious and not livable.
After about 3,000 miles with that setup, I changed the exhaust AND headers.
---
I'm now running the Soul Performance valved exhaust and the street headers with cats.
I had the installation done at Soul's HQ and I had ZERO issues.
The valved exhaust has more of a throaty, deeper tone and sounds more like a luxury exotic than a cup car. Personally, I greatly prefer this. With the valves open, it's still very loud-- but in a good way. I have been getting a lot of "thumbs up" from fellow motorists-- something I did not get before with the other setup.
The headers give my butt dyno a little more torque in lower revs vs the catless headers-- which is nice for street driving.
The absolute selling point, however, is the lack of drone. With the valves closed, the car is far more civilized and there is almost no drone whatsoever. I wish this exhaust would have been available two years ago, because I would have bought it then.
No check engine lights, no drone, just a superior product from a company who doesn't just talk about customer service-- they actually come through.
