Akrapovič S-PO/T/8 Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) — Porsche 911 Carrera 992.1
The Akrapovič S-PO/T/8 Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) is a lightweight rear exhaust for manufacturer-supported 2019–2024 Porsche 911 Carrera-family 992.1 applications. It is designed to replace Porsche Sport Exhaust, reuses the vehicle’s original exhaust-valve actuators and springs, and includes black titanium tailpipes.
Manufacturer-listed fitment
- Akrapovič’s current selector lists model years 2019 through 2024 under its 911 Carrera / S / 4 / 4S / GTS / Cabriolet / Targa / Dakar (992) application. Actual trim availability differs by model year.
- Compatible with vehicles equipped with an Otto particulate filter (OPF).
- 992.1 only. This is not the 992.2 exhaust, and it is not the system for Turbo, Turbo S, GT3 or GT3 RS models.
Carrera T is not named in Akrapovič’s S-PO/T/8 application and is not included in this listing. Confirm the model year, exact trim, VIN and factory exhaust configuration before ordering.
Porsche Sport Exhaust and valve operation
- Designed to replace Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE).
- The original left and right exhaust-valve actuators and springs transfer from the factory muffler to the Akrapovič exhaust.
- No separate Akrapovič valve controller or replacement valve motors are included.
- For a vehicle without PSE, Akrapovič requires review of its vehicle-specific instructions or confirmation from an official dealer before installation.
- Vehicles with round or trapezoidal original exhaust outlets may require the Porsche tailpipe-opening and rear-diffuser conversion shown in the manufacturer instructions. Required factory components must be identified before ordering.
Construction and manufacturer-published data
- Lightweight, high-grade titanium-alloy exhaust construction
- Black titanium tailpipe set with laser-engraved Akrapovič branding
- Published exhaust weight: 12.4 lb / 5.61 kg
- Published reduction versus the sport stock system: 18.4 lb / 8.4 kg, or 59.8%
- Published installation time: 330 minutes
Akrapovič’s published test data for its 2019 OPF/GPF-equipped 992 application reports an increase of 13.8 hp at 7,250 rpm and 10.4 lb-ft at 3,550 rpm. These are manufacturer test results from the stated test configuration, not guaranteed gains for every vehicle.
What is included
- Akrapovič M-PO/T/16 muffler assembly
- Akrapovič TP-T/S/56 black titanium tailpipe set
- Two heat shields
- Clamps, heat-resistant washers and installation fasteners shown in the official schematic
The vehicle’s original valve actuators and springs are reused and are not supplied with the exhaust. The optional Akrapovič link-pipe set and any separate valve controller are also not included. Akrapovič requires an ECU remap when its optional link pipes are installed.
Installation and legal-use notice
Akrapovič recommends installation by a skilled exhaust or vehicle-parts installer. The valve actuators must remain on their correct left and right sides, the actuator springs must be oriented correctly, and the electrical connections, exhaust clearances and outlet alignment must be verified after installation.
Important: Akrapovič states that this product does not meet sound-decibel-level compliance requirements for street or highway use. The manufacturer separately states that the base product does not alter emissions elements. That statement is not a universal street-legal, local-noise or 50-state approval. The purchaser and installer must confirm all laws that apply to the vehicle, location and intended use.
